Light Flight never fails to put a smile on my face. It started out as something kinda silly, accidentally making something cool out of a wavetable modulator, and as we added more and more, it became this brilliant and energetic track.

I remember loving this demo from the first time I heard it. Growing that 2-minute demo into a full-length track took some work, though. Along the way we created a midsection that wasn’t working right for a while. I remember when we finally landed on a good midsection, it solved a lot of our issues. The rest was mostly getting the mix and dynamics right.

I’m very pleased we chose this as the first single for the album, as well as the album’s opening track. I think it starts the album in a really bright, engaging way.
